Protea

Macro night at our Photo Club and among the objects to "play" with was this Protea.  It was part of a bunch of flowers given to us by a friend for looking after her cats and chickens whilst she was on holiday. Anyway, I was able to try out my new Macro lens and shot this close up.  It has been tweaked slightly but it is one of my favourites of the evening.
