It amazes me how in the middle of a heatwave and water restrictions such delicate plants not only survive but produce such beautiful blooms.

Another busy day interrupted by periods without power. It seems we are adapting to this way of life but liking it is a different thing all together. One of the biggest impacts now is the inability for certain reservoirs around the city to be filled as they rely on electricity to pump the water from central points. Thankfully it is not affecting our area, for now.

And they still keep referring to Joburg being a world class African city, I think not!
