Adjusting

I'm getting back into the swing but hopefully I'm a bit saner now that I've been on this wonderful trip. Everyone wants to know what was best and I just can't answer that. There were so many stunning sights but also, just driving around staring at the light playing on mountains and looking at moss growing on lava was amazing. 

I slept until 5! At the rate of an hour a morning I should sleep until 6 tomorrow. 

The Ukrainian counteroffensive has picked up speed, even in the south. Russian war blogger, Rybar, posted maps showing how the Russian hold on the Kherson region shrank dramatically in the span of just a few hours. 

Even Serbia refuses to recognize Russia's annexation. 

200,000 Russians have fled to Kazakhstan, out of fear of being drafted or Putin establishing martial law. Tens of thousands fled elsewhere, including Georgia and Finland. 

The US is going to send FOUR MORE HIMARS to Ukraine! This is part of part of a new $625 million package of aid. 


The Chief Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine says that more than 2,000 Russian soldiers have contacted them over the past few weeks asking for an opportunity to surrender.
