Spring Garden
The day spent travelling to Aberdeen and back by train to attend the funeral of my friend and colleague Brian Adam MSP. Not a great day for thinking about photographs so I simply resorted to the garden when I got home.
Luckily I have a lot of daffodils and this last week or so, they've finally bloomed - all at once. So has the forget-me-not which most gardeners will recognise with a bit of a sigh. Its a prolific self-seeder, but I've learned to live with it because its easy to howk out if it grows in the wrong place. In amongst the daffodils is definitely the right place - I do like the blue and yellow combination!
