Forked tongue

Another visit to Harrogate for some afternoon tea and a bit of shopping. Noticed that many of the benches are adorned with serpents. Apparently these serpent symbols were taken from the serpents that entwine the staff of Aesculapius, the Greek God of Health, as they were considered an appropriate decorative device for a health Spa.
