Commemorating history in Worsbrough Country Park

... the tableau revisits the history of the waggonway that transported coal (and women with their washing), between Worsbrough canal basin and two collieries, Silkstone Main and Pilley Hill.

It would have been my mum's birthday today, she would have been 95. 

I'm not sure of the date of the photo but I'm guessing I'd be about ten.  As you can see I was not a happy bunny. I didn't like being dressed up.  I was much happier in my shorts.
