Now this may not be my most prepossessing blip but I love it.
I met up with friend and fellow Blipper A today, to do a walk from King’s Cross down to Holborn looking at statues…we went down alleys, cut throughs and saw several Squares and gardens. As we cut across Southampton Row we were led to this which is part of the now disused tram network the Kingsway tram subway. After it was closed in 1952 it was used to store trams before being converted part into a road tunnel and part into flood defences .I’m slightly disappointed to find out there were some tours this summer that I didn’t know about….
