Stir-Fry

Was chatting to dear ‘Crispin’ this morning about air-fryers. Me-thinks he’s lost interest. I go through phases of using mine. Today’s my 3rd consecutive stir-fry day. a doddle to cook when the ads are on. Chop the veg and marinate, resume TV, then pop it all in the Acti-Fry - adding the Uncle Bens rice a couple of minutes before it’s ready. Great way to use up veg.

Have been looking at other air-fryers (keeping me occupied between watching wall-to-wall ‘Talking Pictures’ films). Very persuasive marketing. Do I really need an 11-in-One, 14-in-One, 16-in-One - how many more will they develop????  (pressure cooker, sous-vide, dehydrator, steamer, grill …….etc.).

No wonder Crispin has stalled. I remember it took me days to finally go for my Acti-Fry. A good choice for vegans & veggies. But you can’t put a whole chicken* in (*poor thing).

But I do like new gadgets, so good chance I’ll succumb to temptation. Mr B will go mad if I do, we only have a galley kitchen.

Lethargic today. Took bus to Westbourne for a few things. Returned straight home

NB Do any of you have an air-fryer???  Which one?  Do you love it?
