Fungi

We timed our walk this morning according to the weather forecast and managed the whole route with only a few spits and spots. We went to a nearby local nature reserve, keeping our eyes skimmed for fungi. This old tree trunk had good coverage as well as its bees nest which has been there for months now. Lurking at the back is a wood - carved little female ‘boggart’. We call her Bridget. There are similar carvings all over the reserve.
