A church steeple sandwich!!

I went into Aberdeen Art Gallery today to meet a friend from way back. When we were deciding where to go, another friend from way back appeared as he was waiting for his car to be serviced. They had never met before but I think they got on pretty well, discussing a common interest in Scottish history and other things.
After having lunch together, we walked along Union Terrace wondering at the “ work in progress” that is Union Terrace Gardens.
Overlooking the Gardens, is this beautiful scene!!! How did they ever get planning permission for this!!!
