Ammonite...

We were staying on The Jurassic Coast last week but this broken piece of an ammonite fossil didn't come from there.

This morning Chris showed it to me, he was doing a little job with his digger the other day and up came this. It was swimming around about 200 million years ago. It's quite large and is mostly quartz and there's a vein of something running through it...
