Conor and the Philosopher's Stone

It took Orla ages to get into reading Harry Potter, with lots of encouragement and maybe some bribes. Ultimately she absolutely loved it. Not necessarily by design we have taken a different approach with Conor and he surprised us today by just getting the Philosopher's Stone (book one) off the shelf and starting to read it. He was quickly engrossed!
