Lichen on Torridonian sandstone boulder

After the fabulous clear afternoon the previous day, the weather has reverted to West Highland norm and the rain is sheeting down, the rivers and streams are in spate and the hills are hidden in the clouds.

However, looking downwards there are still vibrant colours to be found
