Beauty is all around us.

A Tribute to Dorothy, a saintly lady.

A saint , I am led to believe, is someone who does ordinary everyday things extraordinarily well, motivated by love for Creator God?Goddess, however you perceive the Highest Divine Being.
Saintliness is about findling Christ in others and using your gifts, practical and spiritual, to make everyone realise we are all family, and up to a point, maybe the saying I am my brother's keeper rings true when times are really tough for many, to the point of homelessness and hunger.
A wake up call is one thing, but doing something to help and transform life is what made Dorothy saintly. Jesus said, "Feed my lambs, feed my sheep"
She was good humoured and well qualified and got on with her calling.
Dorothy has passed away, age 79 years old.
Her passing is very sad indeed.I hope her heaven life is peaceful and beautiful and that we can remember and honour her appropriately.
She gave her life to those in great need when faced with the serious issues of poverty and homelessness. She provided a sacred space to heal lives.
Through the work of Maundy Relief based in humble accomodation in central Accrington, Dorothy's mission to help others continues.
The pieces of news are from today's Lancashire Telegraph, which is also later online.
I feel sorrow for the loss of Dorothy to an area where her love and Christlight and prayer life was available from dawn till dusk and beyond.
The tulips are in the beautiful flower tubs outside Rishton library and the Health Centre.
