Celebration
We drove to Regina to attend the 60th anniversary of the founding of our parish when we lived in Regina. The Parish hall was built first and for three years that is where mass was celebrated. The church was built adjoining the hall; the stained glass windows are on the east side of the building so that the morning sun cast colour on the white interior walls. It was designed to incorporate Vatican II teachings so at the time it was considered to be rather radical.
We hoped to see old friends who we hadn’t seen for years and we were not disappointed. A good day.
