Pōhutukawa Flower

I am over in Akaora for one night with my youngster son to look at my water meter. When I returned back from Akaroa on Wednesday there was a postcard saying I was a high water user in Akaora and to check for leaks. First he read the wrong meter, which looked as it belonged to my property, then he found my one. We are to be charged for water over a certain amount from Oct 1st.

I noticed lots of Pōhutukawa flowers out and the birds were really enjoying them. This Pōhutukawa always starts coming out around this time of year and flowers until the end of December.
