Mount edgecumbe!

Took Nellie on two buses and a ferry each way to get to mount edgecumbe! She had never been on a bus before and sat on my lap and shivered on the first bus. Second bus was better! At mount edgecumbe we walked up to the house and she made as if to go in the front door!

In the stable block there is a craftswoman with a loom who produces beautiful works of art and we popped in there. Nellie really liked having a look around and the lady really liked Nellie! Nellie can be quite shy and can be unapproachable but was delightful today!

Her owners came back today and she was so happy to see them. I am looking forward to sleeping in my own bed with no animals to squash me into a sliver of the bed however I shall be sad not to have a wake up cuddle with both cat and dog!
