A Very Sad State of Affairs

The other day...feeling good I decided to treat myself to a bunch of Roses.
I thought It might be a bit safe now that the weather is little nippy now.
2 days and they start to look like this.........It really is a very sad I love to watch them open but this happens far too often.

Anyway enough bellyaching ..........today I battened down the hatches.......I did not leave the house except to put some garbage in the bin....I had a little snooze...I watched some TV....I did a bit of work and pottered around tying up some loose ends....I couldn't even muster up enough energy to go to my girlfriends 60th celebration.

I think I needed it...I'm starting to feel human and besides those noisy people will be coming home this week so I might as well make the most of it.

BTW ....thanks for all the encouragement about the Kayak.
