I spy
The day started with the hens and preparing the plot for wet and windy days! Carpet down where we most often walk - the food bins, the nesting box and the poop trays! It's already turning wet and slippy!
A meander with Oscar - bumped into my ex for the third time as in many days! We joked on the second day about meeting again - today I came over all Victor Meldrew " I don't believe it!"
Come the afternoon I tackled the front garden - should have worn gloves - the viscious monstrosity of a rose and a bramble and a pair of secateurs that pinch left my hands very sore! But I did get to see The Architects new dog - same breed as their other dog, which Oscar had a fight with and now can't bear the sight of! Will be interesting when he meets the two! I also saw my neighbour who comes home alternate weekends usually. He looked healthy and tanned and was arriving back from a week in Portugal ....with his ex he happily informed me! She appeared later with their dog Frankie and neatly side stepped my query of what this holiday signified! Maybe embarrassed as she really tore him to shreds after they split whenever she spoke to me! She was supposed to be moving back to her house in Plymouth this October so I wonder what will happen - she had to serve notice on her son and his family to get them to move out of her house!!
Amazing what you find out without even leaving your property! As I said yesterday - no secrets in a village!
