What a day!
Up at 4 am for a 0430 start to a long day.
It was time to collect the re-restored furniture from Christchurch (Chch) and the Forrester had offered to come along with me of the ride and I'm pleased he did the conversation was entertaining, interesting and amusing.
He made the time pass more quickly besides the assistance in lifting the sofa's and arm chair.
I finally dropped the little truck back at 1830 so 14 hours on the road covering 875 kms which no issues or drama's and despite my reservations it was a pleasure to drive.
The Blip was taken at a coffee stop, curtesy of Ed, on The Lewis Pass names after Henry Lewis who discovered it in the 1860's but the road was not sealed until 1037. The picnic spot where we had coffee is at the start of St James walking track and takes you through to Cannibal Hut and Gorge.
The snow capped mountains were worth of the Extra.
Due to the long day there was no time for Mono Monday for me but I look forward to viewing yours.
