What's the Seapoint?

After a too-close-for-comfort encounter with the bull seal at the end of the West Pier yesterday, I thought I'd opt for a quick dip at Seapoint on my way back from work today, since the tide was high. 
The spirits were high too as there is always a crowd swimming there. A bit too much of a crowd most of the time for me, but not today. Call me a prude if you must but I did not fancy an intimate tête-à-tête with 150kg of randy blubber.
