Not mono!

A mainly cloudy day with some sunny spells, warm.

Spoke to my friend in the evening as she had hospital visit this morning.
K came round and we spent a wonderful day at Hyde Hall, some beautiful autumn plants and colours. Hence no mono shot!  Had a coffee when we arrived, then a walk through the grounds and sat for awhile looking at the scene in first extra, so peaceful, just bird song. Loved the colours in the dahlia, second extra, apt name too "Sunset".
Had lunch, further walking through the grounds and then to look at the plants on sale, bought two and I also purchased a pot of no salt peanut butter for the birds.
On the way home popped into the local garden centre where we purchased some ericaceous compost and a birthday present for one of my friends.  A successful day.
