The birthday month commences!

We have a number of family birthdays in October and  the first to celebrate are my Australian brother-in-law and Daughter #2.  It will be next year before we meet up with the Aussie contingent but today we celebrated my daughter's birthday with prosecco, casserole and cake.  Pictured here is said daughter with her own two daughters, Violet and Stella-Rose.  The younger two are rather prematurely dressed in Halloween outfits as these were bought by Daughter #1 and as Halloween is Violet's absolute favourite time of year (!), she insisted that they try them on!
