361 Of 365: Sunrise

   And the promise of a new day.  We've left Ketchikan and are heading for Victoria, British Columbia. We feel a bit disappointed in this visit as we'll only be in port for approx four hours but only allowed two hours ashore.

   Not only that - it's going to be dark o'clock when we get there. Shops, places of interest are going to be shut - so where's the point in getting of the the ship, other than to get a Canadian stamp on the passport.

   Alledgedly. it's all to do with something call the "Jones Act". Read about it for yourself - see if you can understand it. I can't.
