Progress

Ground works, in the form of the removal of thousands of tons of beautiful topsoil, begins in a new housing estate (sorry, luxury development) outside our village envelope. I doubt these large detached houses will sell for less than £500,000. Part of the deal is the provision of a few ‘affordable’ houses although the advertising sign makes no mention of this. Some of us will be watching carefully.
