Date Night!

Usually "date night" is Thursday, but this evening was just fine! This afternoon we drove to Newport Beach. We had several stops, but the first delicious stop was at Golden Spoon for a "small" cup of frozen yogurt. I chose "peanut-butter flavor."

We then drove to the shore to watch the water while we ate our little cups of yogart and put the 3 pooches in some shade -- the temps topped at 93 degrees today. Then we drove to the Newport Beach Public Library to check-out what their "Friends of the Library Store" had to offer. Mr. Fun purchased several CDs, a movie, and I purchase a book.

Then we drove south along the coast to Laguna Beach with a quick stop at Trader Joe's. They sell "green dog bones" that our three pooches give their "seal of approval" to, so once back in the car, we drove south all the way to Laguna Beach and then out Laguna Canyon Highway to the "dog park" where are 3 pups had a blast running, jumping, kicking-up the grass with their back legs, and doing all the other things that K9s do.

Then we put the 3 furry babies back in the car and drove into Laguna Beach to our favorite Italian Restaurant.

This is anniversary month; so we launched the celebration this evening.

This has been a very good day.
