Our Little Flower
I know I just did a Merrick collage 3 days ago...but...with his mother in South Carolina, and his daddy working...Grandpa was pressed into service.
The little dude woke us up at 6:45 a.m. Grandma hadn't even left for work yet.I gave him my best telephone solicitor line..."DON'T YOU EVER CALL ME BEFORE 9 O'CLOCK!!! The line didn't phase him.
He rode his toys...we hit a few golf balls...went to the playground in the park...out to lunch...and to visit the neighbors.
He tires me out...but who knew that a 2 or 3 word phrase could change your life so much? "Hi Papa." " Hey Papa?" "Thank you Papa." "Bye-bye Papa." Although he can be devilish at times...he sometimes just melts the strings of my heart.
Just to show that he isn't always an angel...the picture on the left shows him crying. The playground we went to has 4-5 things that are meant for older kids. A zip line, and a small climbing wall...for example. But...try to tell Merrick that he can't go on them. HA! So...he throws out that lower lip, and voices his displeasure.
I had both the tulip and a dandelion ready to position him on. Decided to just go with the tulip...tho the little man is growing like a weed.
Hope everybody has a great weekend. Supposed to be real nice here.
