Loving the way this red admiral flittered around with not a care in the world and I flittered after him ...

I went to Ripple Lakes and walked round both of them, a long way,  looking for 3 birds and saw none although yes I did see the jack snipe as it flew at a pace away from me out of the grasses. I was mortified at this - my killer photography instincts were not on point.
