A good drying day

The people who live around Tweed Green have the historic right to dry their washing on the green.  There are still posts in place to hang the washing around The Green. These days it is rarely used for this purpose but it is good to see washing hung there occasionally.  I have spent a lot of time today catching up on the washing and ironing from the last week (hanging the washing in my garden, not on The Green)
