Upside-down plum cake

Discovered the recipe a few days ago so this is the experimental offering for supper tonight. It seems to have worked out OK, but the proof of the pudding etc!
Heavy rain overnight and first thing this morning cleared by 09.30 and the rest of the day has been glorious - good enough for lunch in the garden.
