Sparkles

We must have had lots of rain overnight but it cleared quite early and gave us a nice day whereas I'd expected it to rain all day. I noticed the sun glinting off raindrops on a cotinus. I took a few shots but thought they seemed a bit dull. This was when I remembered something that was in the bag with my Pentax film camera.

There were two clear filters, a four point and an 8 point star filter. It's the 8 point that gave the sparkle here. Great fun!
