After the debate

I was shooting a 2-hour debate yesterday, four candidates (including Jo Ann). Hard to make talking heads sitting at a long table interesting. In this shot, taken as everyone was leaving, Jo Ann's competitor, the man in the blue shirt, is schmoozing with another politician who also schmoozes with Jo Ann. Politics is exhausting. 

The coalition of business owners that hates Jo Ann for being "too easy on" unhoused people published a supposedly independent poll showing Jo Ann losing the election. They seem to prefer her competitor's approach, which is to put more police on the streets and jail all the unhoused people or force them into mass so-called shelters.
