Newhaven

Visited friends in Edinburgh on Saturday. Our plans to go walking were almost thwarted by the weather, but we just changed our route and followed one of the many old railway paths from the city centre to the River Forth foreshore.

From Newhaven harbour (pictured) we walked along to near Ocean Terminal before getting the bus back into the city centre. Getting to and from Edinburgh for me and my other mutual friends was more of a challenge because of the industrial action on the railways. But we made it.
