Harvest

It is the Harvest festival this weekend.  Seems my tomatoes have been very slow in ripening.  This is the first big pick of tomatoes.. we have had the odd ripe one in the past couple of weeks but now I feel like the season is changing and it is time to bring these ones in.  I am looking forward to a lovely dish with them for supper. perhaps tricolour salad with some basil and mozzarella... mouth is watering just thinking about it!
So far the day has been glorious.. mostly wall to wall sunshine and not the heavy rain that was forecast for the London Marathon (so far)
All alone today as hubby has headed over to our daughters boat to cut a hole for a cat flap through the steel door!! That will make life more fun for little Jasper and warmer in the boat not having to have the door open to let her come and go
