"Hardy"

This is Hardy, an all wooden narrowboat built in 1940. This was the last wooden narrowboat built at Braunston to carry coal from Tamworth to Banbury.

The boat is now in the hands of the Tooley Boatyard Trust but, as with all conservation projects, what next. It is a part of Banbury's history but what should be done, where will the money come from, where will it be displayed. Answers to banburycanal@gmail.com
