Food, glorious food
One of the best benefits of having a good friend who owns a restaurant/hotel is that every now and then they get a new chef who wants to test out some new vegetarian meals and needs some willing guinea pigs to try them on.
So it was that we found ourselves at the Dewdrop Inn facing twelve courses of food. Twelve!!
Thankfully they were small portions, but my stomach knows I've eaten well tonight.
Best dish: either the crostini with creamed leeks and a poached egg, or melanzane.
Worst dish: spinach broth. I mean, why would you bother??
Verdict: some very very good dishes - if you're in the area, please do go and try them. You won't be disappointed.
