Will it make it?

About three or four years ago this yucca was a huge mess. Black blotched leaves going brown at the ends and we’d not seen flowers for ages. However it did have babies just peeking above ground so we sawed off all the diseased plant leaving some stumps with bumps.
It took a while but is now a good sized plant worthy of its position. This is its first flower spike and we wonder if it will flower before the first frost......
