Darrah!!!

This was so well packed that you could have played 'pass the parcel' with it, and still be going the next day. It is a 1964 Selcol Beatles plastic guitar. (Four strings, different colours.) I used to have one as a ten year old fan, but I lost most of my childhood things in adverse circumstances. I didn't open it on the first day, because I knew exactly what it would look like: perhaps I don't need the physical object at all. It's wrapped up now and in the wardrobe.
