With no over night clouds to preserve the heat, this morning was a little chilly but quickly turned into a brilliant champagne day - not a breeze or a cloud in sight.

Still in short sleeves and open shoes, the winter is taking its time to claim our area.
No complaints about that!

My cousin and his wife, Piet and Annemarie Swanevelder are on their way to Cape Town from their home town, Kirkwood. Since George lies more or less halfway, we expect to host them this afternoon and evening before they take the last stretch to the Mother city.

I guess we will have lots to talk about as it has been years since we last saw them.
Always nice to see family and to catch up!
