Dumfries: the Stove, Theatre Royal, Electric Theatre, Big Burns Supper, Moat Brae, Gracefield Arts Centre. All shiny examples of awesomeness. Brilliant exhibition by Lizzie Farey @ Gracefield, where the cafe & craft shop also get gold stars.

That was the good. The bad: pouring rain, delayed public transport (buses, trains), rubbish 3G reception, desperate need for a coffee shop in Lockerbie which opens after 5 & taking > 4 hours to get to Edinburgh instead of 2ish.
