Every day is an education. I was just checking my spelling for Beemer to be confronted with the fact that that is the proper accepted slang for BMW motorcycles, with the aforementioned Bimmer, the accepted slang for cars. That explains all the confused looks I get when I cuss out Bimmer drivers who cut me up!

Ah, but they'll always be Tossers Beemers to me!
