Slowly emergent vegetation

I noticed that the vegetation that is so important to the successful operation of this local sustainable drainage pond has begun to grow again after winter. I think the pond is working quite successfully to trap and slow down road runoff but will presumably work even better once fully revegetated in a few weeks time.
