Red Sky in the Morning . . .

It certainly proved true today. A few spots of rain about an hour after this, gradually increasing to a downpour by lunchtime, but all suddenly cleared around 2:30 pm.  One centimetre of rain in total.

This was the view from my diningroom window shortly after 7am.
Looking out across the Firth of Forth towards the Bass Rock (which is hiding behind the floating crane just right of the sun).
