Shades of Fall

Thank goodness I walked Pepper fairly early this morning and avoided the soaking that came a bit later on. The autumn colours are looking a bit drab so maybe the full strength of hues is still to come. 

I'm pleased to have 'grabbed' this fading foliage as I didn't venture out at all out later on.
