Busy

I was intending to work from home today but a member of my team, a school librarian, really needed help with a bid that needs to be submitted soon, so I went to her library. I arrived in a middle of a difficult class and it was pandemonium in he library for a while, so I had to wait until it calmed down a bit - giving a couple of the kids my "teacher's stare" (which seemed to work for a little bit), and confiscating a whistle. When that class left, we managed to work on the bid for three hours solid before I had to go to a meeting, (then another), but all that was left to do was quite clear and my colleague was able to finalise it on time.
In the evening, I was picked up by my friend Gill for an evening with B.
