Crab apples

Had a great sleep last night after our journey home.  Was up and ready to get stuck in to the washing, two loads done and out to dry in the morning, which was nice and sunny with a wee breeze, perfect for drying.

We had a bit of a glut of tomatoes in the greenhouse, so I decided to use some of them to make some Tomato and Basil Soup.  Made enough for about eight servings, so have a stock in the freezer for later.

Bob had planted a variety of tomatoes and the variety 'Shirley' has been our favourite....quite small and so sweet.
