Fortuitous snail

Delighted that the marathon hill walk yesterday has more less fixed my foot issue. The weather was a complete contrast today with strong winds and driving rain leading to some minor flooding in all the usual Southside places. I was dashing back to the flat from a routine shopping trip when I spotted this snail looking particularly fresh in the rain. I thought it was worth getting even wetter while I located my phone embedded inside my waterproof.
Having confidently stated on Ben Lomond that I never watch TV before 6pm I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with Michael Palin’s latest travels in Iraq in the middle of the afternoon. Then a hilarious coffee catch up with P and I exchanged my copy of Winter Garden, I told her I thought the ending was very lacklustre, for some Portuguese sardine patê.
