Summer memories

In between overdosing on news reports - yes, those replays of PM Liz Truss's excruciating performance on local BBC radio interviews this morning - I revisited some summer images. This cheered me up, as nature shots almost always do. So today's image is a collage from the archives.

The one positive thing about those news reports was how wonderful the local BBC radio interviewers were. No beating round the bush; straight to it. 'Our country's economy is in chaos, where were you??'   They reduced her to awkward silence, more than once.
