It's Abstract Thursday!

Today I had lunch with my friend C, the C with whom we went to Chenies Manor on Monday.  We did chat about that day and promised ourselves that we would return at a time when it would be possible to sit in that beautiful garden.
Before leaving for lunch, I took some shots of our Hawthorn, the only tree in our garden that has currently taken on true Autumn colours.  I applied an 'Artistic' filter in PS elements, 'Colored Pencil'  (the software has American spelling) and added a frame in Phototastic Collage.
