Plants

The seeds I put in on the 3rd of July, and showed weak and leggy on the 11th of August are thriving. There are five different varieties of tomatoes and one capsicum.I’ve now planted them in separate pots and given them lots of light. Each morning I take them out to the greenhouse for the day and bring them back into the warm house for the night. They are now sturdy and healthy looking. (The pale parts of some of the leaves was the phone camera’s addition. They were actually as green as the other parts).

Here’s a tip I discovered for myself. I keep the plants in a flexible bucket. This makes them easy to carry with one hand. The bucket can be almost closed over the plants to protect them from cold winds during the trip between house and greenhouse. The white reflects more light onto the plants. My main crop tender seedlings are in another bucket.
